The Bible suggests that human history, hearts, actions, and business are all under the absolute sovereignty of God. True joy and happiness for human beings begin when they acknowledge the work of God and accept they live in this world as the tools of God. Neither is believing in Jesus a confession of faith by their own will, but only those who are chosen by God can believe in Jesus as the Christ (Ac13:48).

In a world where God is excluded, human beings always think of hope and the future in them, and live in the world in accordance with their own opinions and wishes. Their spiritual failure and fall in this repeated absence of God are all implicated in the expression, “Everyone did what was right in his own eyes”(17:6;21:25) in the book of Judges in the Old Testament.

Nowadays, people go to church and believe in Jesus, but they seem to be more interested in the world than in the content of the Bible. Instead of looking for God's will, they spend more time and energy pursuing their own dreams and plans. Even when God is not taken into consideration at all, there are blasphemous things that believe that their will is the will of God. Humans are unable to believe in Jesus on the basis of their opinions. The believers chosen by God gradually enter into a process of self-denial in which their dreams and plans are wiped away. As a result of self-denial in Christ, they pray everyday for the grace of God, and hope to empty themselves and to be filled with the Word, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus for walking step by step toward the will of God and the direction that God wants.
