Those who are endowed with the gift of wisdom in Christ redeem the time wisely in this fallen world. Similarly, even those who possess wisdom apart from Christ may demonstrate an ability to manage their time effectively. However, the concept of "wisdom" carries an entirely different meaning for those who live their lives in Christ compared to those who navigate the world without Him.

Wisdom in Christ is characterized by a complete denial of self, a surrender of personal ambitions, and the elevation of Christ Jesus above all else. In contrast, wisdom outside of Christ is often defined by the pursuit of personal recognition, wealth, and power.

Seeking worldly success apart from God results in enslavement to the idol of self—a relentless drive to elevate one’s own value. This inevitably leads to an unfillable void and profound loneliness, which people may attempt to alleviate through indulgence in excess, greed, immorality, and other destructive behaviors. Yet, without the presence of God’s Kingdom, the true meaning of life remains elusive. What may outwardly appear commendable often masks an inner emptiness, bearing the stench of spiritual decay.
